The Osprey Group prides itself on being the 'enthusiast's publisher'. We enjoy publishing books on subjects that people are really passionate about and we continue to support niche markets.
Over the years the Group has come to include:
Osprey Publishing
The Osprey General publishing programme was launched in 2003. It has the objective of reaching out to the non-specialist reader with an active or spontaneous interest in military history.
Shire Books
Shire Publications has earned a unique reputation in British publishing. Bringing together experts and enthusiasts, Shire has continually sought to fill the gaps in published material, providing affordable non-fiction paperbacks that reflect the interests and passions of ordinary people everywhere. In its history the company has published over 1000 titles, covering a broad and eclectic range of subjects rarely, if ever, published elsewhere.
Angry Robot Books
Angry Robot ™ is a global imprint dedicated to the best in modern adult science fiction, fantasy and everything inbetween. Our book line launched in July 2009, with both physical books across a wide variety of formats, e-books with audio to follow. British-based but selling worldwide, our mission is to produce books that appeal to everyone, from post-Dr Who and Xbox fans to long-time genre enthusiasts.
Old House Books & Maps
At Old House Books we spend a lot of time in antiquarian book shops and sale rooms seeking out Historical Street Maps, Out of Print Guide Books, maps of The Empire, The Thames and other titles that explore the past. We then produce high quality facsimile reprints to make them available once again.
