30% off offer ends in just 48 hours and possible postal delays

Throughout October we have been running a hugely popular 30% off discount on all of our Men-at-Arms, Warrior and Elite titles - and now you only have 48 hours left to stock up your collections using this discount. This is the most extensive discount that we have ever done on this site, and it is not likely to be repeated for a very long time, so don't miss out now, or you could be in for a long wait...
That discount plug over - it has been fascinating watching which titles have been the most popular over the last couple of weeks. The Men-at-Arms series in particular has been very popular, although as ever there were complaints that simply too many titles are out of stock - something that we are continuing to address (by April next year we will have reprinted 449 different Men-at-Arms titles, no small task when some of the books are 40 years old, and still only held on film!).
Unfortunately, however, some of you are going to have to wait a little longer than usual for your orders to arrive, because of the ongoing postal strikes in the UK (USA and Canadian customers will receive orders as usual). This is going to particularly impact upon UK customers, but our international deliveries are also going to be running into delays as mail piles up. We are working as hard as possible to get all of your orders out as quickly as possible to minimize possible delays, but please do bear with us over the next couple of weeks.
Speaking about delivery dates, as crazy as it seems to be talking about this in October, if you are planning to pick up some Osprey books as Christmas presents, could I encourage you to order earlier than usual this year. With the postal disputes looking likely to continue over the next couple of months, the backlog of mail is going to hit delivery times. Again we are already looking at ways that we can reduce the impact on you.

It is still October 31st, even in the UK, yet the sale would already seem to have ended. Thanks to that premature ending, I won't be submitting the order that I had been planning to make...

Same here, I was planning on ordering about 50 titles today and the discount is gone. This is crap from Osprey!

Actually, I checked a "sample" consisting of the WW2 MAA, Warrior, and Elite titles, and found about 2 that were still on sale, including one on nurses in WW2.
Thus, I am wondering if there might have been some unwritten condition on the sale such as "so long as previously-allocated sale stocks remain, and not including any replenished stocks."

Sorry all, for some reason our discount does appear to have ended prematurely. Unfortunately I cannot reactivate the discount remotely, but on Monday morning I will ensure that the discount does go back up again - we will run it from Monday morning through to Wednesday evening so that anyone who has missed out on their discount is able to still make use of it. Again, I apologise for this error, it won't happen again!
