My one musical item would be my iPod. Oh, is that cheating? Ok, then The Weakerthans Reconstruction Site CD.
And my luxury item would be a lovely yacht (with a captain) to sail me home.

My books would be Mons, Ypres, Malta, Essential histories special - first world war, essential histories special - second world war, essential histories special - Napoleonic wars, essential histories special - american civil war and Rome and her enemies. Music would be Never mind the ****** - sex pistols and my luxary item a bottle of Jamesons whisky. Actually with these books on a desert island, I might not want to be rescued!!

Security Forces in Northern Ireland,
Knights at Tournament,
The Gurkhas,
and the yet-to-be-published Polish edition of US Army in the Vietnam War (Battle Orders) so I could boast when I'm rescued.
