Interesting the title on US Marines equipment. Is it a starting of a new "sub series" like "tactics"?

Great titles! I am looking forward to US Cavalry Units: European Theater, Tunnel Rat in Vietnam, RAF Fighter Command Pilot, and US Army Paratrooper in the Pacific Theater.
Like Alessio, I too am curious about the US Marine Infantry Combat Uniforms and Equipment title. If its another sub series, I think its a great idea. The MAA US Army Equipment and Flak Jacket titles are 20-25 years old, and this equipment series is a great way to rectify that. I also hope we see titles about US Army, British Forces, and Russian infantry combat equipment not just from 2000-2010, but from 1990-1999 as well.

Hi all:
yeah I'm very intrigued by the American Marian s uniforms and combat equipment. Sounds like a great subseries and one that I would welcome.
I've been begging Osprey to update the Flack jackets book to take into account the ballastic vest/kevlar/cermaic inserts revolution.
Perhaps the editors will eventually publish such a title

An excellent batch of titles! Though I was under the impression that the ETO sequel to WW II U.S. Cavalry was planned for further into the future. I would not have normally thought a title on U.S. Paratroopers in the PTO would warrant it's own title but there we go! The Elite on modern USMC combat gear is a really good one too. Is it me or is the Warrior title on RAF Fighter pilots seriously overdue? LOL

Byzantine Imperial Guards AD 925-1025 sounds like an excellent title to tie up the Byzantine subject within the MAA, ELI and WAR series.

I'm also interested in the idea of a 'sub-series' around Combat Uniforms and Equipment... I think the MAA titles on German and US web equipment are some of the best (and most-useful to the collector) Osprey titles and had hoped Osprey would take this further.
I have often suggested in the monthly poll a title on gas masks (hopefully a couple of different volumes covering either different periods or different countries). Soviet/Warsaw Pact web equipments is a title I would love to see (illustrated by the great Ron Volstad of course!).
Xavier, you might be interested in this book released this year that covers modern body armour:
