There is a festival atmosphere here in the UK. With Easter just passed and another long weekend ahead, thanks to the royal wedding, people are in a party mood. For me, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to share another sneak-peak at some upcoming Osprey artwork.
To start us off, a Tony Bryan gem from NVG 181: Yangtze River Gunboats 1900-49, due out in June 2011. Seriously, can you really call yourself a military history fan and not like this painting?

It just wouldn’t feel like a “New Artwork Day” without another jaw-dropper from Peter Dennis, so here you go. This beauty will be appearing in WAR 157: French Foreign Legionnaire 1890-1914.

Finally, Adam Hook tackles the Germans and one of their greatest World War II leaders in this painting from CMD 15: Walther Model due out in June.
