About half of the office is out today. Some are off at Who Do You Think You Are Live, others are in the United States for the BIG meeting.
By a strange co-incidence, everyone in the chain of command that I call ‘boss’ is among the absent.
So what does this mean for me? A day of ‘research’ on The Miniatures Page, Strike Hold, Warlord Games, Ambush Alley, and a number of my other favourite websites, mixed with plenty of relaxing work breaks, reading the soon to be released RAID 8 The Cockleshell Raid: Bordeaux 1942.
So what does this mean for you, dear reader? Well, drop me a note at blog@ospreypublishing.com and tell me what you are doing at work today. I’m going to be selecting a few winners throughout the day and giving away free Osprey books! Don’t wait around long though – with my two-hour lunch and knocking off an hour early, I won’t be here long.
P.S. if any of my bosses are reading this, I’m actually putting the finishing touches on the new UK catalogue and sorting out some bookdata issues.

Man, your Friday sounds 12 times better than our snow-day-at-BIG-meeting in the US. How was the new RAID?
