Will the good sales of the Campaigns titles on Dunkirk and the Maginot Line make you reconsider your decision of turning down Dr. Forczyk's proposal for a CAM book about Case Red/Battle of France from 5 June 1940 onwards?

I know Richard did a top sellers of 2009 post here:
http://www.ospreypublishing.com/blog/preditctions_for_2010_january_to_june/
But he did not give us the top selling three titles from each of the series for 2009 like you did for 2010 here. Do you guys mind posting that here? I'm just curious.

i'm glad to see the Thirty Years' titles did so well, i hope for more to come. Chinese Warlord Armies also apparently beat the Soviet ww2 Armies MaA title, and rightfully so, as the latter didn't lived up to my expectations. i bet i'm not the only one who'd like to see more China-related titles, like the Armies of Manchukuo (and the other Japanese puppets) and maybe a title on Mao's forces.

Hugo I'd love to see that title published as it's not a subject that's covered very well in English.
And I'm with Wurttemberger on more China related titles. Armies of Manchukuo would be great and I'd also like to see a Chinese Aircraft of the Aces for the Sino-Japanese-World War Two period.

The lists seem biased towards the books published earlier in the year. This is most clearly seen in Command, one of the two new series, and to a lesser extent in Weapon.
What happens if you "normalize" sales, divide the number of books sold by the number of months in 2010 that the book was for sale? I'd be curious. Bet under that standard "Sniper Rifles" would be your best seller for Weapon and "The Bruneval Raid" would at least show in Raid.
Admittedly I have a dog in the fight, but call it the engineer in me. I am curious.

Mark,
You are right, the system isn't really fair as books that come out early in the year have more time to sell than ones that come out later, but working out the months vs. sales averages for all of the books is beyond the means of this poor marketeer. GI, here's a quick look at the best seller for each series in 2009:
CAM 205 Warsaw 1944
DUE 015 Russ vs Jap 1904
ELI 177 German SF WWII
FOR 085 Scapa Flow
MAA 451 Roman Navy 31BC
NVG 154 Brit Bttlsp (1)
RAID 001 Pointe-du-Hoc
WAR 138 Rough Riders

As the steely-eyed bean-counters at the top end of the office have probably already told you, Joe, the only fair comparison between titles is to look at the performance of all of them over the same number of months! Twelve is as good a number as any, This means you really can't look at a whole year's output till the end of the following year. However, I seem to remember that the Series front-runners are generally apparent after just three months of normal trading, so you coluld do a pretty meaningful review of the full calendar year's publishing in April of the following year, taking only the first three months' sales of each title.
