I think it's a very nice line up! I will most likely take them all, but a little more on modern days in 2013 please...

A nice selection of 20th Century weapons, but what about the earlier periods. I would like to see more on late 19th Century rifles when the technology changed from muzzle loaders to breach loaders. And also the early 16th when muskets changed from direct fire(matchlocks) to sparking (wheelocks and flinklocks). I hope that 2013 will include weopons from earlier periods.

Decent line-up there (already found out about most of these via Amazon.co.uk...)
I have suggested previously titles on both grenades and mines for the Weapon series as there are surprisingly few references in print on these important weapons - is this something Osprey would consider? I have a copy of a Martin Pegler article on the Mills Bomb so perhaps he could author a full book with this title? Alternatively, how about British Hand Grenades of WW2 and German Hand Grenades of WW2 for starters as I think these would be the most successful sales-wise.

Great line up, looking forward to reading them all. How about a title on the Martini-Henry?

Excellent line up. Looking forward to reading the Lee Enfield title in particular.
I'm guessing that the MP-40 and MP-43 / STG 44 are in the pipeline? I would also like to see the Luger and Walther P38 being covered at some stage along with the PPSH 41. Oh and the FAL rifle!
A nice novelty idea would be a book of bizzare weapons from throughout time. For example the Soviet dog bomb!

With the 2012 line-up in the Weapon Series, Osprey comes loaded for bear! Or maybe I'm just in the target demographic. Keep shooting bulls' eyes. OK, that's enough shooting-related puns for one evening. In all seriousness, I'm particularly eager to get my hands on the BAR and the Sten.

If you are going to devote a whole book to the M-60, then I sure hope you're planning one for the FN MAG as well! I also would like to see books on the Browning Hi-Power, Bren, and FN FAL. Coverage of the Beretta series of submachine guns would be nice, although I realize this is probably unlikely.

I was thinking that it would be interesting if two Weapon titles were published at the same time in linked / opposing pairs. The chance to use Osprey standard resources to make immeadiate comparison of two similar weapons from opposing forces from the same conflict or period of time would be great.
For example
- The Lee Enfield being published at the same time as the KAR 98
Other examples
- Sten gun and MP-40
- M1 Garand and Arisaka
- BAR and FG42
- Bazooka and Panzerfaust
- Vickers and Maxim machine guns
- Medieval knight sword(s) and Eastern scimitar
If nothing else its a nice matching game if anyone else wants to join in!

2012 is looking like an expensive Osprey year for me.
7 out of 8 Weapon titles. 9 out of 10 New Vanguard titles. Plus all the other ones. I'd fully support more early and modern titles for 2013 just to have a year where my budget can recover!
