There are only a few days left before the kick-off of the first annual Military History Weekend, and there are still a few spaces available for the Collector's Evening event on Saturday night. At last count, there were about 40 reservations left.
From the website: "Join the sponsors of the show for a memorable evening at the Hotel restaurant with a special presentation by Col. Eddie Shames, WWII 101st Airborne Veteran, Easy Company, focusing on his wartime experiences in England and Normandy. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served with a chance to meet one on one with Col. Shames, and other veterans, military history authors, figure sculptors and the principles from our sponsors. A special W. Britain Redcoat Ensign, Regimental (King's) Colour, Coldstream Guards figure will be given to all attendees."
