Go with Garibaldi! My great-great grandfather was a Redshirt and he fought in the Expedition of the Thousand.

Looking forward to Bill Slim and Eisenhower.
It will be interesting to see how this series will treat MacArthur whenever it gets around to him.

Washington is one of the most underrated generals in history. I don't think any other available man could have commanded the Continental Army, led it to victory and then avoided creating a military dictatorship. Certainly he produced better results long-term than Napoleon.

Its great to see Peter Dennis illustrating medieval related titles. A great mix of command titles can’t wait for the Hannibal, Saladin and Lawrence of Arabia books.

In echoing support for laurent14; Mike when are we going to see the CAM titles for 2011? I do hope that RAID and COMMAND series has not taken all the resources away from the Campaign series.

I second the motion of Laurent 14 and Nick Brown. What about Campaign titles of 2011?

It's a bit eurocentric isn't it guys?

I'd like a book on Khalid Ibn Al-Walid, probably the least well known military genius in history, definitely up there there with Caesar and Napoleon.
And Belisarius too please, if I'm being greedy.

Fair point, it is a little eurocentric at the moment, but it is still early days for the series - over time the series will grow and expand, much like our other series. Unfortunately with a new series we need to start quite conservatively so that the bookshops take the books and we can get them in front of your noses! As time wears on we can cover less well known subjects (and venture away from the WW2 / US / UK focus)
