Really interesting! Take note, Osprey: French Gendarme and European Reinassance Knight could be popular subject for the warrior/elite lines.

We already have Tudor Knight - http://www.ospreypublishing.com/store/Tudor-Knight_9781841769707! it is interesting though. I watched David Starkey last night on Henry VIII and it was more interesting than I expected. Went a bit mad on televisual gimmicks but the history was good.

Clearly I have Tudor Knight and all the English Knight volumes. I have just a complain about Tudor Knight: While good as many Gravett’s book, it tends to be speak about “the general English soldier in the 16th century” and not specifically of the English knights in that period. For example the information about the Gentlemen Pensioners and the Bullerners and the experience on the battlefield is minimal.

Again I hope that the French Gendarme (quite popular in a previous Osprey survey), the Burgundian Gendarme Companies and the Italian Renaissance Knight could be a really good subject for future Osprey publications.
