My suggestions (and for once I have actually done these in order of preference):
- Aces of the Indo-Pakistan Wars (i.e. I second Reber's suggestion)
- Chinese Aces 1937-45 (likewise)
- WW1 Aces on the Ottoman Fronts (Middle/Near East & Caucasus)
- Israeli Ouragan, Mystere & Super Mystere Aces
- Israeli F-16 Aces (although might be better in Combat Aircraft)

On another note: are we going to get the chance to 'fill in the gaps' for Essential Histories?

My suggestions:
1. I've been pulling for a title on Chinese Aces 1937-1945 for a while now so count me in on that one.
2. Japanese Home Defence Aces
3. MC 202 aces (perhaps combine it with MC 200 aces as well)
4. Junkers Ju 88 aces (great opportunity to look at the actions of V/KG40 over Biscay)
5. A6M Zero Aces (covering the "Rufe" too please)

Finally a wild card: Luftwaffe Tank Busting Aces of the Eastern Front (chance to cover the HS 129 as well as the Stuka units)

My Aircraft of the Aces suggestions:

1-SPANISH ACES OF WW2

After the end of Spanish Civil War some former Republican pilots exiled to URRS joined VVS, 8 of them became aces in WW2. Also and volunteer pilots from Franco's Spanish Air Force joined in 15.(Spanische)/JG51 (from June 1942 to January 1944) with 15 aces.

2-CHINENSE ACES 1937-45

About 28 chinese aces flying in Hawk III, P-26, I-15, I-153, I-16, Gladiator, P-40, CR.32, D-510 and P-51, in Chinese Air Force and/or Chinese American Composite Wing.

3-CZECHSLOVAKIAN ACES OF THE WW2:

31 Aces that served in Polish Air Force, Armeé de l'Air, 310, 312 and 313 (Czech) squadrons in the RAF and some individuals in other units (including 2 in Beaufighter) and 1st mixed Air Division in Eastern Front.
The narrative include the move to Poland after the Munich Pact, Fight in France in 1940, Battle of Britain, Channel Front, the formation of the Czech Wing, Dieppe, service with 2nd TAF, fight in the Eastern Front.

4-BELGIAN WW2 ACES:

12 Aces (plus 1 V-1 ace) serving in Belgian aviation, 349 and 350 (Belgian) squadrons in RAF, with many in 609 squadron, among them Remi VAN LIERDE the 2nd best V-1 Ace.
History include Defense of Belgium, Battle of Britain, Dieppe, 2nd TAF service.

5-NORWEGIAN AND DANISH WW2 ACES:

17 Norwegian (plus 1 V-1 ace) and 1 Danish Aces, that fought in Finnish aviation, their respective national forces, in 331 and 332 (Norwegian) squadron in RAF and some individuals in other units.
Covering Winter War volunteers, the Defense of Norway, formation of the Norwegian wing in 1942, Dieppe, the Norwegian Wing becoming one of the top scoring units in Spring of 43', ground attack missions in NW Europe.

I support Junkers 88 Aces. To MarkL: At least 8 pilots who served in Ju 88 C in Biscay Bay became aces (with a total of 109 kills)

The MarkL "bonus" raise a interesting question, pilot with tank kills scores are subject for this series (not only Stukas and Hs 129 but also A-10 in the Gulf)?

I also like the Ju-88 idea and wouldn't mind seeing a similar Do-215/-217 volume for night fighter aces. Another idea could be aces flying 2-seaters in World War 1, though this may be hard to compile. Since Aviation Elite is now defunct, a number of volumes could be squadron/air group specific, like JG 5 (similar to the Tainen Air Group).

Hello all!

a volume about the JU-88 Nachtjäger aces would be really great, as would be a similar one about ME-110 Nachtjäger aces;
A6M aces would make a great volume as would two seater aces of WW1;
I also like the idea of Tank killer aces, no matter if they flew Stukas, HS-129s or A-10s;
the Early French aces proposal sounds quite interesting as well so I think there is still quite some stuff to cover with the Aces volumes....
