Galloping Major Ltd is a company run by military history enthusiasts to design and produce 28mm figures and associated products for discerning wargamers and collectors. We endeavour to create characterful models, properly dressed and equipped, and armed with specific period firearms to capture the atmosphere of the times.

A long held favourite period of our designer since childhood (fostered by grainy black and white television images of The Last of the Mohicans and nurtured by the superb illustrations by Ronald Embleton in Look & Learn) the French & Indian War will be an ongoing in-depth range.

We are providing painting guides for the various troop types, making additional use of the exhaustive research that goes into creating the models, to assist with getting them ready to take the field. Our first guide: "Painting Mohawk Warriors" is on the Painting Guides page of our website.
