I am sure many of you will have heard by now the devastating news that Angus McBride has sadly passed away. I know how much everyone loved his work, and I thought you would like to see this fitting tribute to him in The Guardian.
Privileged to have met him on more than one occasion, I can honestly say he was one of the nicest people you could possibly have the pleasure of meeting. An incomparable creative talent, I will remember him not only for his brilliant artwork, which symbolizes Osprey and our history greater than any other, inspiring both readers and fellow artists alike, but also for the sheer joy he brought to all those who worked with him. Quite simply, Angus was Osprey. He will be sorely missed by us all.
