Five out of those titles are definite buys for me.
Thanks for the work on getting them to print and as always thanks for listening to your customer's feedback.

MAA 466 Armies of the Balkan Wars 1912-13
MAA 474 The Chaco War 1932-35

That's two I might consider getting. Which means you've done a good job in picking interesting titles, particularly considering that the "shoulder straps and cuff buttons" approach of MAA isn't my thing as I'm not interested in esoteric minutiae about uniforms.

Chaco War, the Adowa campaign and the Brazilian expeditionary force are the must have of my list, looking forward for more on the south american wars, saludos

I'm looking forward to these:

MAA 465 Brazilian Expeditionary Force in World War II
MAA 468 World War II Soviet Armed Forces (2) 1942-43
MAA 473 New Zealand Expeditionary Force 1914-19
MAA 474 The Chaco War 1932-35

I find it interesting that New Zealand will have a separate title instead of sharing pages with Australia (ANZACS) with regards to WWI. Does this mean we will see a WWI Australian Expeditionary title along with a New Zealand Armed Forces of WWII book down the road?

Looks like I'm going to cross off a few things off my wish list now.
Thanks guys!

MAA 466 Armies of the Balkan Wars 1912-13
MAA 467 American Indians of the Great Lakes

Any chance you could tell us the authors and illustrators for each title?

Adowa/Chaco still need a Campaign/E History Book.

"MAA 466 Armies of the Balkan Wars 1912-13" and, of course, "MAA 474 The Chaco War 1932-35", that I have already requested in your blog.
When will we have something about the Pacific War?

By the way... España Campeona del Mundo!!!

I'm kind of bummed about the list - two expeditionary corps get a dedicated volume, yet five armies from one of the largest wars in the XXth century get crammed into a single one? I suppose it's still some good new the Balkans are getting some spotlight, but still...

I would also request an authors and illustrator for the volumes. At least for me, this has always been a deciding factor, after the subject, of course.

Looking forward to the upcoming blogs! Cheers, Osprey!

Excellent list. I am particularly pleased to see the New Zealanders, the Brazilian Expeditionary Force, and the Chaco War titles. Now how about a volume on the New Zealanders in WWII.

Nothing of my interest, but I will buy MAA Imperial Armies of the Thirty Years' War (2): Cavalry at November.

While there's no Medieval or Napoleonic titles that is a good batch! The Brazilians & New Zealanders certainly warrant coverage, the first book of the Soviet 3-parter is certain to be fantastic & the other titles are most welcome as well. (I'm likely to buy all of them as long as the Indians of the Great Lakes title covers the War of 1812)

How about more on American Forces of 1812-15? Volunteers/Militia/Irregulars, Navy/Marines/Privateers & more on the Regular Army would be ideal subjects. While James Kochan's U.S. Army 1812-15 MAA title was great the mounted branch was barely covered & the book was mostly dedicated to how the Army manufactured uniforms with nothing about tactics or organisation. (I still cannot believe the Portugese Army of 1808-14 got THREE MAA titles!)

Very interesting, expecially NZ expeditionary force and crown forces in N. Ireland. So, what next about ELI and CAM in 2010?

Especially I look forward to the Crown Forces in Ireland 1916-21, the subject I've advocated for a long time. Maybe the time will come soon for Brazilian or Russian Elite Units?

No Spanish Tercios? Brazilian expeditionary forces? New Zealand? Oh, sure, I mean, why would anyone wanted to know about the best fighting machine in the XVI-XVII centuries...?

(the 30 years war thing is like writing a book called "WW2: the allies, european front")

great new, due to our enthusiastic "lobbying" Osprey is preparing an other future for our favourite serie, and more with 2 expected titles about Latinoamerican Armies.
With 10 titles we are not in the Golden Age 2001-2005 with 13 to 20 MAA published each year but it will be the best year for MAA since 2006:)
Long life to the Men-At-Arms

PS : I thought there was a MAA planned about Swiss in foreign service 1792-1815 ?

I have ordered the Balkan Wars, and look forward to the Crown Forces in Ireland and Chaco War, and shall at least have a peep at the Irish Rebellion and Adowa.

I hope the Crown Forces shall deal with the RIC, Tans and Auxies as well as the British regulars.
