Adveneures? That could be good. There's a few charactars in military history that would be good subjects for this, like Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck in Africa or Ungern Khan in Mongolia. Anyway, that's what I would call military adventurers.

There are quite a few books I'm looking forward to in 2013. Fallen Timbers is definitely on my buy list, as I enjoyed Wabash 1791 (I'll actually be taking a trip to Ft. Recovery, OH this summer).
Hammerfest: The Dennis illustration is from WEAPON, The Webley Service Revolver.

I must have the CAM Fallen Timbers book, British VS French frigates and ALL the new MAA'S! My brother will be pleased, he buys me Osprey's for my birthday and has a soft spot for New Zealand! Perhaps my detective work has been too good as I already know about most of these releases... disappointed there was no listing for Combat titles... unless I missed something. I know there are Combat titles for the ACW and WW2 paratroopers.

Oh, PS, I'm curious to know where the exciting trench raid scene on the cover comes from... I'm guessing the Weapons volume on the Webley Service Revolver?

One of the ones I'm looking forward to is the Duel title on A6M vs F4f; can Osprey let us know the author for that one? I'm hoping it's Mark Stille, as I think he's great, but he's more of a naval combat chappie and this is an aerial duel. That being the case, Naval Battles for Guadalcanal is the most-anticipated title for me this time round!

For the curious amongst you, the artwork is taken from (going clockwise):

WPN 19: The Webley Service Revolver
WPN 24: German Automatic Rifles 1941-45
NVG 198: Imperial Japanese Navy Destroyers 1919–45 (1)
