

The next piece of art in our list comes from David Rickman, a figure plate that featured in a November title, Men-at-Arms 475 The Spanish Army in North America 1700-1793.
David Rickman is the exhibits co-ordinator for the state parks system, where his favourite projects are helping to restore and furnish both American Civil War and World War II seacoast fortifications. At other times he is a freelance illustrator specializing in historical and ethnographic subjects. His works are in the collections of the National Park Service, Parks Canada and various other museums and historic sites. The son of a US Navy aviator, David has lived in Japan, grew up in California and now lives in Wilmington, Delaware.
