Terry Crowdy to speak at the International Napoleonic Symposium

On Wednesday, Osprey author Terry Crowdy is heading to Vienna to speak at the International Napoleonic Symposium. an event that has been organised for the bicentennial of Napoleon's campaigns against Austria in 1809.

On Thursday he will be presenting a paper on 'a conscript's story' - telling the story of a French soldier as he is conscripted, (barely) trained and sent off on campaign.

Over the last couple of years, Terry has been pretty focused on espionage, deception and resistance warfare - publishing The Enemy Within, Deceiving Hitler and Warrior titles on the French Resistance and the SOE. This however, takes him back to some of his earliest work with Osprey, including a Warrior title on French Napoleonic Infantrymen.
