unknownpleasures

Any ideas for new titles from the 17th century?
Here are a few:

White Mountain(1620)
Nordlingen(1634)
Benburb(1646)
The Dunnes(1658)
Zenta(1697)

How about Nieuwpoort (1600) and siege of Ostend (1601-1604)?

Breitenfeld was one of the most important and interesting battles of the 1600's so that should certainly have it's own book. The siege of Ostend would also be a really good campaign because so little is written on the 80 years war.

The War of the League of Augsburg or Nine Years War is a very neglected period, especially as a lot of manufacturers are bringing out new ranges of wargame figures for it. The commanders such as Luxembourg and William III were colourful characters and warrant a bit more attention.

Dutch-English and Dutch-Spanish naval campaigns of the 17th century, of which there are many, are a missing subject matter.

What about Namur 1692 and 1695 Limerick 1690 and 1691 Fleurus 1690 siege of Derry or Londonderry, Aughrim (1691) king William's War (US) the Western Design of commonwealth England? There are many little known/forgotten but very important campaigns/battles. So why not look at these?

How about Morgan's raid on Panama? OR king William's battle at
Steenkirke?

I agree with all previous suggestions, but I add a title about the fierce war between Portuguese and Dutch in northeast of Brazil (Bahia and Pernanbuco), since 1624 to 1654.

I'd add Rocroi 1643, and perhaps a volume covering Turenne's campaigns of 1674-75.

I agree with all the suggestions. I add also "The bloody (or swedish) deluge" (1655), the first great northern war between Poland, Swedwn , a period full of little known battles and colorful characters like Charles X and Sobiesky, and also the Great Cossak Rebellion (1648)
