Hello!
I have a suggestion for a new book in the magnificent "Essential Histories" series....The Great Northern War! This long-lasting and important European conflict seems to be somewhat neglected by Osprey. Actually, more stuff in general on Scandinavian conflicts would be good. We are indeed a bunch of peaceniks up here today, but it hasn't always been that way. ;o)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the release of the Chinese Civil War in a few months.

A book on the Swedish Army during the Great Northern War would be nice as well. Attention to Russian Empire expansion in Southern and Eastern direction under Catherina the Great en later rulers could also lead to several interesting titles.

I find it hilarious how this odd little word, out of all the words in the Norwegian language, has caught on in the US (and maybe England too?) It seems like it has become some kind of a symbol of Norwegian heritage in some parts of the US? Say it loud, say it proud!

Books based on Russia’s Wars of emergence would be good. Osprey has covered Russian armies well now its time to cover the battles. Whether its Russia’s wars in Asia or Europe I would be interested in both.

Yes that's a great suggestion. I think that there also should be a MAA and perhaps a Warrior about the Swedish soldiers during the Great Nordic War.
