South and Central America

Coneyman

I think that those are two areas that, with the exception of the MAA about the wars of liberation, still havent been covered by osprey books, and would be nice to see some more on the topic. What about a book on the armies of the war of the pacific or the war of the tripple alliance? And one about the haitian military? This area is so rich...It's a shame it hasnt been covered yet....

I enjoyed reading MAA 221 – Central American Wars, great to hear Osprey has plans to expand their range of books concerning this area.

South America has a great history that's pretty much unknown and ignored by the rest of the world. It's hard finding books in English about most of the South American wars. So I'm really looking forward to anything Osprey will publish in the future about this area. War of the Pacific, War of the Triple Alliance, War of the Confederation, the wars of independence, plus a few civil wars. There's so much suject matter in 19th century South America.

Agreed. I think there is scope here for some excellent books on topics that have little written about them. So keep talking about them and I'll keep talking about them here at Osprey.
