Gone times History still at the top of interest!

Early Mycenean Warrior won the poll at 53% of preferences.
Maybe around there's still lot of people interested in not - XX Century 's military history? It seems so!

It would seem so, but it's difficult to establish whether the voting system for Osprey books is accurate, as some people are clearly voting more than once for a book. I've seen it mentioned before that Osprey can spot when multiple votes occur from one person (IP address?), of course I've never done it ;) but could we have a little more clarity from Osprey on this 'issue'?

Everyone could vote multiple times.
But in this case it has been replayed the crushing result of the Troy campaign, then no doubt on this issue.

Indeed - the Mycenean title performed fantastically, got around 50% of the vote with over 4000 unique votes! There were a few hundred duplicate votes for each of the books though...
The voting system can be 'gamed' but we pick up on this pretty easily - and there have only been a couple of occasions over the last four years where this has actually had a notable impact on results - and even in those cases it has only really been a problem where two titles are running neck and neck at the end of the month.

Maybe the readers still have the taste of Bronze Age Greek Warrior in their mouth? ;-)

The vote was on early Agean warrior. This could be Minoan, or Sea Peoples, as well as Mycenean warrior. In my persoanl experience, people love to read about what they know least of. In this case, very ancient warriors.

@Hammerfest. You can vote more than once by clicking for your choice repeatedly, but a vote from one source, i.e. your computer, is only counted once for the overall tally at the end of the month's vote. My original post in relation to this is the issue of distortion that I believed was happening during to the vote because of 'multi voters' clicking like mad to get their vote to the top of the list. The message from Osprey seems to be don't bother, it'll be spotted.
