South-East Asian armies

Sarissa

Alongside the Khmer Empire, perhaps it might be possible to produce a series of interrelated titles on the armies of Sout-East Asia from medieval times to the 19th century. This is a subject much neglected in military literature even though theregion has a rich warrior tradition covering the kingdoms and empires of Burma, Thailand (or Siam), the Malays and Indonesians. Maybe the best way to proceed would be to have one title for each area or kingdom such as 1. Burma, 2. Thailand and 3. The Malays and Indonesia.

I agree with all the above. Not much is known about these civilisations in the west but I can imagine there being the potential to have some colourful plates.
