Osprey raids series

In late september a post topic started to atttract attention on this planned new series and promised "sneak preview" over the next months. Now we are almost in december and I think that time has come to know a bit more on that. Also some blog reader (me included) posted some suggestion on future subjects. So guys, don't be shy and let us knows something. Come on, I'm curious.

I also noticed that the "raid" series is very conspicuous by its very absence in your Jan-Jun 2009 catelogue - Are they still in the pipeline? Or do we have to be patient!

Glad to hear that you are all getting excited for this new series! It will launch in September 2009 so you will have to wait a little longer for the books themselves. I will also be formally announcing the first six launch titles next week. However, as a sneak preview I can confirm that the first six will include topics as diverse as the Rangers at Pointe-du-Hoc to the Entebbe Airport raid in 1976 and even a Samurai raid of the 17th century. We have also taken on board a number of your other suggestions, some of which will be appearing in the first 10 titles.
