More campaign books

Here are some suggestions for more Medieval campaign titles: the
Battle of Verneuil ( this was the last major English victory in the Hundred
Years War ), the Battle of Castillon (this was the decisive French victory
the brought the Hundred Years War to an end), the Battle of Neville's
Cross ( the English crushed a Scottish invasion and captured King
David), the Battle of Halidon Hill (King Edward III first great victory - won
over the Scots). Any other suggestions?

I agree totaly with your list. Anther Medivel campaign book I have sugested is Clontarf 1014, Brian Boru's victory over the Vikings. Varna 1444 (The great Ottoman victory) is anther one I have seen suggested and would like to see. And how about Ain Jalut 1260? (The Mamluks victory over the Mongols)

Formigny 1450. It was important at least as Verneuil, as the English Army was virtually wiped out. Belgrado 1456. One of the mayor Turkish setback in the 15th century.

Yes, the Ottoman siege of Beograd (1456) would be great addition. Also, the Battle of Kosovo (1389) would be great addition, battle of legendary proportions. Concerning Byzantine world, another Campaign title should be dedicated to the Crusader sack of Constantinople (1204). Nicopolis is already entitled as the Last Crusade, but that title is even more precise when we talk abot Battle of Varna (1444).

Everything concerning John Hunyadi is fine for me. Another interesting subject is surely the Battle of Mohi (1241), between the Mongol Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary during the Mongol invasion of Europe.

The title that is lacking the most for me would be "The Portuguese Reconquista" seriously! No publisher outside Portugal as anything on it and yet it was much more effective and impressive that the Spanish one. Also because they were fighting the moors and the Spanish at the same time! Battles like Aljubarrota where the Portuguese army was outnumbered 4 to 1 and completly crushed the Spanish are as epic as other European counterparts yet noone even knows about it. Also Osprey seriously needs to start reprinting alot of their ancient and medieval titles.

I'm with the original author of the post- Verneuil, Castillon, Nevilles Cross and Halidon Hill are all very worthy of a Campaign title.
