Good idea,would like to see info on the Iranian Army in the Darfur Rebellion

I’m in the process of reading Iranian F-4 Phantom II Units in Combat, and have become more fascinated in the pre and post Iranian revolution armies. It would be good to see Osprey cover these armies.

yes it would be a good book. I was always impressed with irans western choices in weapons. Also i remember seeing a large group of iranians armed with the Uzi, and i wondered if the order of such weapons from isreal had antagonised any other members of iranian society.

Count me in, again a very "specialised" kind of book but one that has got t alot of modern relevance.

I would like to see more longer timespan starting with the Shah's armies and including the Iran-Iraq war. It would be interesting to see the change in the Iranian army.

It would be good if it started with the Army of the Shah's father, Reza Shah. Through the Reign of of Mohammed Reza Pahlavi (the man we know as 'The Shah' in the west). Ending with the role of the Imperial Armed Forces during the Islamic Revolution and it's eventual collapse.
