Book on the Internal Conflict in Peru
monkeyapplenerd
I think a book should be made on the Internal Conflict In Peru/Shining Path Insurgency from 1980-2000. It has been estimated that nearly 70,000 people died, that warrants something.

Monkeyapplenerd:
I'd second the suggestion. In fact I'd like to see an Elite or Warrior title on Perunivan counterterorist police and/or soldier. Then expand it to include the Columbian conflict. They're not related but both title would provide some perspective on the internal conflicts.

Thanks good to see someone agrees and I think Colombia would be worth going into as well only that conflict is still going and historians usually like to wait till the conflict is over to really right a good book on it.

Osprey has covered conflicts which are still ongoing, so covering the Columbian conflict should not pose too much of a problem. Osprey seems to be looking into South American conflicts, so your suggestions may come into being.
