Having read the post ona title for the Ductch East Indies Fleet in World War 2. The think that this would be a nice companion title to it. Also it could companion the upcomming title on the U.S. Forces in China.

In a similar vein, a book on the U.S. Navy's "Great White Fleet" that circumnavi the world between Dec. 1907 to Feb. 1909. It could be part of a book on U.S. pre-dreadnaught battleships to accompany the book on early U.S. Crusiers.

We have two New Vanguard books on the US destroyers scheduled for early 2010, which will hopefully be good news for fans of 20th century American Naval History. In the meantime, I will make sure our New Vanguard editor is aware of your suggestions for books on the US Navy in Asia, and the ‘Great White Fleet’. Thanks for your interaction on the forum!

Any chance we could get a New Vanguard book on the Yangtze River gunboats - the real life versions of the fictional USS San Pablo from The Sand Pebbles?

A very big yes to the ideas of both "roostercogburn" and "faganator" ! The Dutch East Indies Fleet and The US asiaiatc Fleet would be great subjects. The river gun boats for all the forgin ppowers as well as the Chinese navy would be a splendid idea (as well as at least a 3 vol series.
