Mine warfare
CWyatt
Mine Sweepers, Mine Hunters, Mine Layers, MCMVs. Good reference books on mine warfare vessels are very difficult to come across.
I wonder if readers think mine warfare vessels, not just from WW2, but also the modern age (for example, western MCMVs in The Persian Gulf from the 1980s) would be interesting.

I agree with you. Furthermore, I think it would be great to have a New Vanguard title on different submarine mines used in world war 2, just as torpedoes (japanese long lance and german accoustic torpedoes for example were quite impressive weapons!). But titles for each period, WW1/WW2/modern era, seem more appropriate because dealing with these these subjects in just 48 pages would not be realistic.

Yes I would be interesting. I love WWI and WW2 periods, but of corse I don´t love Wars.Modern age weapons It doesn´t like me. I think it would be great to have a NV title on Mine Sweepers, Mine Hunters, Mine Layers mines used in WW2 and WWI). But titles for each period, WW1 and WW2, seem more appropriate. would agree the Royal Navy MCM units have had some interesting operations since WW2 including counter insurgencey and mine countermeasures across the world, including Suez Canal, Falklands, Arabian gulf, Borneo and Northern Ireland. As well as sorting out mines in UK waters.
