Tommy casualties on the BBC and the isles dynamic
Draconifer
Looking at a slideshow on the Tommies of the Great War
I observed that many names in the casualties list were
Irish and Scottish. This in a small section of wall.
Rather unsung heroes of the war and the message is lost.
That seemed a defining moment for Britain in recent years as
opposed to events of the Middle Ages. As such it is more indicative of
the modern era and should be more influential. Thoughts?
