Will there ever be a New Vanguard book about the Valentine?

Yngve J.

I have been hoping for a New Vanguard book about the Valentine tank for yaers now, and I have to say that I don't quite understand why you haven't published it years ago already. Am I the only one intrerested in this tank?

Yours sincerely

You're not the only one interested in it. I've put in a request through the 'Books I'd like to Read" section. The Valentine and its variants (Archer, Sexton) would make an interesting book. There's not a lot out there on this tank and since it accounted for almost a quarter of British tank production in WW2, it would be a worthy study.

I have also requested a book on the Valentine tank. I would also like one on the other early WWII British tanks, A9,A10 and A13 that were the tanks that fought in the early North Africa campaign. John K

A new vanguard title on the Valentine is a must! Im surprised it hasnt been done ages ago. I definatly be up for that one. It was a crucial British tank during the North African campaign, formed the basis of many of the early specialised armoured vehicles and was one of the few tanks we sent to the Eastern Front that the Soviet Union actually like!
