Jack Bowsher is Head of History in a secondary school in Hertfordshire. In 2023 he completed a Masters in Military History, which led to his first book, Forgotten Armour:Tank Warfare in Burma. He has since written two other books on the Burma campaign, Thunder Run: Meiktila 1945 and Fighting Retreat: Burma 1942. He is a regular speaker at military history festivals and founded The Forgotten War Podcast, co-hosted with Dr Robert Lyman.
