Permissions

All Osprey books are protected by copyright, and so unless otherwise stated, you are not permitted to copy or reproduce material from publications without our express permission.

If you wish to reproduce, reprint, or copy any part of an Osprey publication, please read the following guidelines before submitting your request.

To apply for permission to use material from Osprey publications please complete the form available for download below with all of the details relevant to your request. Please note we cannot process requests over the telephone.

If the requested material is an illustration or photograph, please check the acknowledgment pages at the front or back of the book, or the caption alongside the photograph, for information if the rights are controlled by another party. If this is the case, you will need to apply to them directly. As a rule of thumb, nearly all artworks, maps and diagrams in Osprey books are © Osprey.

Under UK law, copyright expires at the end of the period 70 years from the end of the calendar year in which the author dies, unless the work has been published posthumously. If the copyright has expired, the original text may be reproduced without permission.

For all Osprey Publishing and Osprey Games permission requests, please fill out the permissions form and return to: [email protected]
