Afternoon folks! Oh dear, one title!? That's very disappointing. The title itself is "ok" but as James has already said I suspect some of the info has already been covered elsewhere in the series. It's not an immediate buy for me - I'll wait and see. If WPN is to continue how about; Springfield Model 1861 & 1863 Rifles, Matchlock Muskets, British Cavalry Swords 1796-1921, MP18 & 28 Submachine Guns, the Claymore & Zweihander, Dreyse needle-gun, Chassepot Rife (Fusil modèle 1866), SKS Semi-Automatic Carbine, Anti Personnel Mines 1862-2020, Krag-Jorgensen/Springfield Model 1892-99 Rifle, Glock handguns 1982-2020, Early Machine Guns (Gardner Gun, Nordenfelt Gun & Mitrailleuse) or Medieval Maces, Flails & Morning Stars? I also hope that X-Planes and Fortress haven't gone the way of the Dodo as well but I fear the worst!
That's pretty disappointing, to be honest. Only one Weapon title for the whole year, and a lot of the aspects of the weapons involved have already been touched on in other books. I would guess that this series is nearing the end of its life. Dare we hope for any "Fortress" or "X-planes" titles in 2024?
This "list" is disastrous... I second Adams call for SKS, Anti personnel mines and Glock and may I add PK (and maybe other postwar Soviet/Russian machine guns), French automatic rifles, Steyer AUG, Carl Gustav recoilless rifle, M72 and other disposable rocket launchers, SIG pistols and S&W revolvers, these for me being some of the most obvious.
