Anthony Rogers has enjoyed a varied career. After serving in the Royal Marines, he was a freelance photojournalist, covering wars on three continents. He later worked as a private security contractor. A keen military historian, he has written extensively about mercenaries and other aspects of unorthodox soldiering, and is also the author of a number of books focusing mainly on the Long Range Desert Group and events in and around the Mediterranean during the Second World War.
