José Real is a Spanish artist based in Madrid. Everyone who knows him remembers him always drawing. He began his career almost 20 years ago designing pop culture T-shirts, a medium through which he could channel all of his passion for comic books, movies, and video games. A true nerd through and through, he has spent countless hours playing Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and tabletop RPGs. His work includes covers for satirical magazines, horror novels, posters for film festivals and conventions, and concept art for video games... usually created with a coffee nearby and music or a podcast playing in the background.
