Congratulations to Bernard Cornwell as his new novel Azincourt has taken the top spot in the UK best-selling book chart and is getting plenty of press coverage. The book is available now in the UK and coming to the US in January where it appears to have retitled the more familiar Agincourt.

I haven't read it yet but I'm hoping (and all the signs are good) for Cornwell at his best with Nicholas Hook an English archer from the seige of Soissons to the battle itself. For those of you who want some background reading there is always Campaign 9: Agincourt 1415 or Men-at-Arms 317: Henry V and the Conquest of France to help you visualise the epic confontation of October 1415.
