...Charly's blog on her favourite Osprey book

I remember when the invasion of Iraq took place – despite being in safe in the comfort of my living room in London, war suddenly felt very real despite being so far away. The huge amount of media coverage, and the soaring emotions surrounding the military involvement in Iraq, ensured that talk about the conflict was pretty much unrelenting.

Of course, this means that all sorts of reading material has been generated about the war, but Col. Darron L. Wright’s book Iraq Full Circle remains fascinating. It is an insight into what life was like on the ground, and details the varying experiences of Wright and his colleagues as the war evolved through different stages. This is definitely a worthwhile read about a conflict that has had such an impact on so many.

Thanks Charly! Iraq Full Circle is currently 25% off until the end of the month. Check back tomorrow for your chance to win this and all the other books picked by members of staff this week.
