Anthony Rogers has enjoyed a varied career. After serving in the Royal Marines, he was a freelance photojournalist, covering wars on three continents. More recently, he worked as a private security contractor. A keen military historian, he is the author of two books about mercenaries and other aspects of unorthodox soldiering and several books focusing mainly on the Long Range Desert Group and events in and around the Mediterranean during the Second World War.
