Marek Szyszko lives and works in his hometown of Warsaw, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree in graphic arts in 1976. Until 1990, he worked as a comic strip artist, and was among those representing Poland at the Bande Designée festival at Serre, Switzerland, in 1988. Since then, he has concentrated on illustration, particularly of historical subjects, for magazines, books and board games. His work may be found on his website, mareksyzszko.com.
